  We rented 2 rooms here in July 2010 and were pleasantly surprised at how roomy and updated they were. King size bed was very comfortable and display of towels and toiletries in bathroom was pleasing. Flat screen TV was a bonus! Internet and A/C worked fine and lots of parking close to the doors. Didn't use the pool but it certainly looked nice. Lobby is quite luxurious. Didn't eat here at all so we couldn't rate the food. Hotel is only 1 block from TransCanada Highway and a few minutes from airport.

• Great Staff, But quite a walk to local businesses

  Booked the hotel over the phone with no problems. Great friendly and accommodating staff. Building looks like it hasnt been painted in awhile on the outside when you pull up but is quite lovely and clean on the inside. We came down to watch an event that was hosted at the hotel and after the event would wrap up for the day we would "attempt" to venture out on foot to visit local stores and malls in the area. From the hotel you can easily see many destinations in which you may want to visit, there is the sunridge mall in view, the train station, marlborough mall and many restaurants such as the keg and red lobster...now here is where it became frustraing, you can SEE where you want to go but have to take some very VERY out of the way detours to reach these locations. Cabs in the area were also very hard to come by, making those long out of the way walks to each destination even longer and more frustrating. Thankfully the hotels shuttle service was handy and was able to pick us up from a few destinations in between running to and from the airport. If this event was again hosted at this hotel would i stay here again?? definetly, but i would be sure to bring a better pair of shoes next time and be prepared to spend a "more than anticipated amount" on public transportation.
