I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The hotel was very run down and the rooms are outdated. The bed coils were awefully noticable and uncomfortable. When I mentioned this to hotel staff they said they were going to be going through major renovations soon. Too bad I didn't know this before booking. If I could have, I would have changed hotels instantly but it was too late upon my arrival and since i booked through Travel online i could not change such arrangement.

The beds in this hotel are so worn out you would do just as well to sleep on a park bench at check out they made sure not to ask if your stay was ok knowing what the answer would be . I would strongly suggest going any where but this hotel

This hotel is clean for the most part; it could use some minor repairs, especially in the bathrooms. Caulking around tubs, newer toilets, and the carpets could stand to be cleaned. The hotel staff was nice, helpful when I needed. The pub in the back was interesting - obviously a favorite of locals so it was nice to hang out there. The food was what you would expect for a local pub. I booked this particular hotel to be close to the shopping district, without having to spend $ for a room I didn't plan to spend much time in, especially since I was only there overnight. Unfortunately, I learned that Downtown Calgary pretty much shuts down on Sunday so I spent more time in the hotel than I had planned. I'm not sure I would stay here again, but I wouldn't go so far as to tell anyone else not too.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. I didn't like having the pool right out my window, and that was really my only complaint. The parking was reasonably priced and even after we checked out, we could leave our car while sightseeing. You can walk to most of the important parts of town from this hotel or catch the free public transport.
